Will there be groups for children at the in-person Christmas services?

Some of our in-person services will include KingsGate Kids groups. Places for these must be pre-booked and you can see which groups are running at each service in each location, and if there is space left in groups, through the ticket booking system.

Do I need to pre-book tickets for the in-person Christmas services?

Yes, everyone planning to attend our in-person services in any location will need to book tickets in advance as we are limiting the capacities of our buildings to help keep everyone safe.

Which ticket type should I book?

Please note that you only need to book one ticket type per person.

If you are attending the service, please book a Main Auditorium Service ticket for yourself.

If you are booking a ticket for a child to attend a KingsGate Kids group, they do not also need a Main Auditorium Service ticket. However, if you have a child or young person who will stay in the service with you throughout, please ensure they do have a Main Auditorium Service ticket booked (and do not book a KingsGate Kids group ticket for them).

Teams
Similarly, if you are serving on one of our amazing teams for a service, please book yourself a team member ticket for that service, which will reserve a space in the Auditorium for you if you will be in the service for any part – for any services you are serving at, you do not need to book a Main Auditorium Service ticket as well.

Tickets are fully booked – can I still attend an in-person service?

If tickets are fully booked, this means our services are full and we cannot guarantee entry on the day. We would love you to join us for our online service, though, which has unlimited capacity!

How is hygiene being managed at in-person services?

All our facilities are regularly and thoroughly cleaned, and both our facilities and equipment are cleaned after services.

We have sanitisation stations around our buildings and we encourage regular handwashing and use of hand sanitiser.

Toilets are available and we ask you to wash your hands thoroughly after use. We also ask you to accompany your child if they need to use the toilet whilst with you during the service.

Are there any other safety measures in place?

Yes, we are keeping our services spacious by limiting capacity and ensuring extra space between seats; you’re able to block off some seats next to you as well if you would like to. We also have air handling systems in our auditoriums which mean we’re able to constantly circulate fresh air. This, combined with high ceilings and spaciousness, means we have a good constant airflow throughout services. We also encourage everyone to be mindful about engaging in close and/or physical contact with other people at our services, not assuming that others feel comfortable with close contact.

Do I need to wear a mask?

As per government guidance on face coverings in enclosed spaces, we encourage wearing face coverings when entering, moving around, and leaving buildings, unless exempt. Due to the measures in place in our auditoriums, you will not need to wear a face covering while seated in these spaces. However, we understand that many feel more comfortable continuing to wear face coverings at all times indoors.

Are in-person services fully accessible?

We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. If you are a Blue Badge Holder, please let our team know when you arrive so we can ensure you have accessible parking.

What if I have COVID-19?

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 you must not attend a KingsGate location. If you have already booked tickets, please cancel them (which you can do in your ticket email) so they can be released for others to book. We’d love you to join us for our online service instead if you are able to, so that you don’t miss out!

I have a different question – how can I get in contact?

If you have any further questions, please email us on info@kingsgate.church and one of our team will get back to you.
