Father God,

Thank you that we have the church. Thank you that I can find friendship here with other people who believe what I believe. Today I make a commitment to be part of this group of believers. I make a commitment to be at church as much as I can. Like Ruth, I want to care for those around me who may not be feeling they have friends in this group. Help me to keep my eyes and ears open for others around me.
