How can I help?
Care Zone relies on the donations of the local community. We offer high quality goods to those who visit us as a way of communicating our value for people, and so we ask that all donations are in good condition.
What we can receive
- Chests of drawers
- Dining suites
- Small household furniture
- Duvets & bedding
- Kitchen equipment
What we can't receive
- Electrical items
- Office equipment
- Sharp knives
I enjoy being able to meet people when they are at their lowest and bless them. I love that Care Zone shines hope on what seems like a hopeless situation for many of our clients. I believe that Care Zone is God’s love in action.
Volunteering at Care Zone is a great way to make a real difference in our community. You can belong to a team, utilise your existing skills & develop new ones, whilst gaining confidence.
We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities, including:
- Supporting people when they visit Care Zone
- Moving and sorting furniture
- Sorting clothing
- Furniture assembly
We also offer training and volunteer opportunities in furniture restoration, furniture assembly, and furniture upcycling through our workshop. If you’d like to find out more about volunteering, please contact us using the form below.I'm interested
The friendly staff at Care Zone make it a lovely place to volunteer. It’s wonderful to see Care Zone providing a great service to ease difficult situations.
Care Zone Bespoke Furniture is our social enterprise. We have a workshop which focuses on empowering unemployed members of the community with work experience and transferrable employability skills. The process of restoring furniture for resale in the workshop reflects the person who has upcycled it and their own journey to wholeness and wellbeing as they grow in self-confidence.
