The KingsGate Food Pantry exists to soften the blow of high living costs, reduce food waste, and create the conditions for the local community to grow and thrive together.
We deliver dignity, choice and hope to families facing food insecurity by offering good quality food and a community hub where people find friendship and connect with other services they need.
We reduce food waste by drawing on the oversupply of supermarkets supply chains and pass this food onto families facing poverty.

WHO WE ARE
The KingsGate Food Pantry is proud to partner with Lime Academy Parnwell and Manor Drive Secondary Academy to support families with children at the schools who are facing food insecurity and struggling to meet the costs of buying groceries for their families.
We offer a range of healthy and nutritious food, including fresh fruit and vegetables, at a low cost. By reducing weekly shopping bills, members can free up money to cover other bills, repay debts, or pursue other family interests.
MORE THAN FOOD!
Food Pantry is a community where members are warmly welcomed and invited to have a cuppa and a chat. Our pantries are run by a fantastic team of volunteers who love their communities. Our volunteer teams can also connect members to services they need or will find helpful.
We partner with Citizens Advice Peterborough, to offer early access to high quality information and advice across a range of issues such as income maximisation, debt and benefits issues.

If you would like to shop for us, purchasing food that our members need, you can visit our online food donation shop. The items are delivered for you.
Volunteer
Volunteering with us is a great way of becoming part of our Food Pantry community!
You will join a very friendly team and have the opportunity to serve your community and get to know our members.
