The Film & Photography Team plays a vital role in how we tell the story of what God is doing at KingsGate. Through film and photography, we help showcase the life of our church across our social media channels, website, printed materials, graphics, and promotional content.
For many people, the content we create is their first introduction to KingsGate. That's why we place a high value on capturing authentic moments that reflect who we are as a church and the life of our community with excellence and integrity.
Time & Location:
- During and after Sunday services at KingsGate Peterborough, Cambridge, and Leicester.
- Additional opportunities are available throughout the week for events and special projects.
What we're looking for:
This team is a great fit for someone who has a heart for serving the church and enjoys using creativity to help tell stories through film and photography.
You love noticing meaningful moments, capturing the life of the church, and creating content that helps people see what God is doing in our community. You're eager to grow in your creative gifting and are open to learning, developing and sharing your skills as part of a collaborative team.
Previous experience using a DSLR or mirrorless camera is required.
As part of the team, you'll receive support, guidance, and constructive feedback to help you grow in confidence, creativity, and technical ability. We also value a willingness to learn independently and continue developing your skills outside of serving opportunities.

As part of your application, we ask to see examples of your photography and/or film work so we can get a sense of your experience and creative style.
Before joining the team, you'll also need to complete Safeguarding Level 1 training. We'll provide all the information and links you need to complete this as part of the onboarding process.
