We help people feel at home from the moment they arrive at KingsGate. Through genuine conversations, we welcome first-time visitors, get to know their story, and help them take their next steps, whether that's joining a LifeGroup, serving, attending a course or event, or finding ways to connect into church life. We are passionate about creating a culture where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and included. We build connections with people throughout the Atrium and in the Welcome Lounge, helping them find a sense of belonging, while also supporting a safe environment by serving as Fire Marshals when needed.
Time & Location:
Before, during and after the Sunday services at KingsGate.
What we're looking for:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, listening well, and helping others feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and at home. You are comfortable starting conversations and building connections with people you may not know, and you have a heart for helping people take their next steps in church life. You're committed to growing personally, developing their skills, and contributing positively as part of a team that is passionate about fulfilling our church's vision.
Anything else:
Our team serves on a four-week rota, with a minimum commitment of one serving slot every four weeks. We also ask team members to be connected into a LifeGroup and a KingsGate Partner.
