Our passion is to see young people's lives changed by the power of God's love.

As we start our new term back (whoop!) we want to come together and re declare that we are ALL IN!

All in to love, to live and to lead just as Jesus does!

Our vision is to see lives transformed by the power of God's love, and here at Youth we want to do all we can to see your lives transformed and the lives of people you know, your friends, your family...

Join us as we remind ourselves of our vision for KingsGate Youth and commit to being ALL IN

Friday 10 September 7.30 - 9.30PM

Friday 17 September 7.30 - 9.30PM

Friday 24 September 7.30 - 9.30PM

We’d love to see you at our gatherings every Friday during term time.

We run a Youth Service every first Friday of the month, then host Team Nights, a Social Night and another Team Night! There's so much to get involved in, we'd love to see you there!

With worship from our Youth Band, great teaching, dramas, dances, media pieces and great production. Doors open at 7:15pm

Our Youth Nights involve a BIG activity, we’ve had silent discos, inflatables, Easter egg hunts and climbing towers. Our café is also open and an option of two seminars to choose from. It’s a perfect night to invite your mates!

Our vision is that our Youth Service is run FOR YOUNG PEOPLE BY YOUNG PEOPLE. So our Team Nights is a time to gather together and work towards a great Youth Service each month. Can you dance? Do you enjoy production? Are you good at running events? Can you preach? Are you good at media? Come and join a team, get to know people and help run our awesome Youth Services!

There's something for you every Friday.

SCHOOL YEARS 7-13 / 9AM & 11AM

If you’re in school years seven - thirteen, why not join us on a Sunday morning to hang out, and look at the big questions of life?

We have different styles of Sundays each week, ranging from bitesize video teaching and discussion to a more relaxed vibe with q&a panels, opportunities to serve the wider Church and also our Youth Service Live that you can be a part of that gets streamed on our YouTube Channel.

We are passionate about what we believe, and want to learn how to demonstrate God’s love to those around us.

LifeGroups are core to our Youth Ministry as they provide a smaller environment to get to know one another and dig deeper into what living a life for God looks like.

Tuesdays: 7pm–8:30pm / KingsGate Community Church

Don't miss out!

If you're interested sign up here.

We want to support young people in every part of their lives, so we try to regularly connect into the Peterborough City schools during term time. We get involved in assemblies, lessons and lunch clubs, so look out for us in your school and come and say hello...

Louder Lunch Club

Ken Stimpson Community School / Tuesdays at 1:35pm / Drama Room

Thomas Deacon Academy / Fridays at 12:15pm & 12:45pm / in Room A06

City of Peterborough Academy / Tuesdays at 1:10pm & 1:40pm / in Room B30

Arthur Mellows Village College / Tuesdays at 12:35pm / Music Room

We are always looking to help you as a student. If we don't have a lunch club in your school and you would like one, simply email our Schools' Worker, Ceire Charlton and we’ll see what we can do.

As a Youth Ministry, Prayer is a huge foundation of everything we do! The Bible teaches about it, Jesus did it and as a team we can personally say we’ve seen so many prayers answered and lives transformed as a result.

We've got loads of stuff for you on our Youth Prayer Page, from our Youth Prayer Shield, Phone Backgrounds and a Prayer Request Section.

Info for Parents

What's KingsGate Youth all about?

We want to support and encourage every young person, wherever they’re at on their journey with God. We believe God has a plan and a purpose for their lives and that they have, in the hands of God, a great future to look forward to.

Are all of the events supervised?

All of our programmes are supervised and overseen by our team of adult leaders. Our team have undergone DBS checks and agreed to work under our Child Protection Policy. Our aim is not only to create a fun, positive atmosphere at all of our events, but also create a safe and secure environment, where young people are supported and cared for.

Does my child need a consent form for events?

For events such as Friday nights and Sunday mornings we will take down your contact details in case we need to get hold of you and a consent form is not needed. A consent form will be needed for trips outside of the church building and when we require a payment.

Sunday Mornings:

A minibus service runs every Sunday morning, subject to availability – please contact the church office (01733 311156) for more information.

How much does it cost to attend?

KingsGate Youth is free of charge. Events where payment is needed will be clearly advertised. There may be occasions, when we provide food on a Friday night, where we may ask for a small contribution, but this will be highlighted in advance.

Are the leaders professionally qualified?

All of our leaders are highly valued and are provided with regular training opportunities. Although some of them may not be Youth Workers by profession, they take it just as seriously, and many have Youth Worker qualifications.

How do I contact you if I have more questions?

Phone the Church Office from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday on: 01733 311156
