Specialist Pastoral Team

At KingsGate we seek to provide pastoral support through our LifeGroups. There are times, however, when the support required is beyond the skill or remit of a LifeGroup Leader. This is when our Specialist Pastoral Team steps in to offer support across a number of areas: marriage help, bereavement care, counselling and listening, individual Freedom Prayer ministry, home visiting for those unable to come to church, hospital visiting, or parenting support, for example. Whilst some training can be provided, we are seeking people who already have a strong skillset in one of these areas.
Time & Location:
Various mid-week serving opportunities depending on which area of expertise you can offer

- You’re committed to living out our values, leading a life of integrity
- Once on team, you will be committed to self-development, learning and developing your skills. You will be a great team player and you will play your part in seeing the vision of the team fulfilled
- You already have some specialist training in a particular area, or are willing to undertake a Pastoral Care Foundation course
Anything else:
Whilst we do require team members to be Partners at KingsGate, if you are on the pathway towards Partnership, we would welcome an application from you. This team does require references and may require a DBS to be completed.
