Safeguarding
Our staff and serving teams are trained and committed to work together to create and preserve a truly nurturing culture and environment. To that end we take safeguarding seriously and have a dedicated team working in partnership with ThirtyOne:Eight, the only independent Christian safeguarding charity in the UK.
Below you will find both our Safeguarding Policy Statement and Safeguarding Policy Handbook as well as ways in which to contact the relevant people if you have a safeguarding concern or issue.
Reporting an issue or concern
If you have a concern about safeguarding at a KingsGate centre or location you can contact our safeguarding team directly at safeguarding@kingsgate.church
If you want to report that someone has acted inappropriately towards you online, or to a child or young person you know (it may be sexual chat, being asked to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable or someone being insistent on meeting up), you can report it to CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection command of the National Crime Agency).
It is our desire at KingsGate to provide a safe environment in which children and adults with additional care and support needs can develop physically, intellectually and spiritually.
