Compassion

KingsGate is committed to working with Compassion to help support disadvantaged children across the world.

As a church, we encourage individuals to consider sponsoring a child with Compassion in order to help children develop in all aspects of their lives – economic, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual.

For more than 70 years, Compassion has been working to amplify the work local churches are already doing to transform the lives of children in poverty. More than 2.3 million children are part of Compassion programmes, run by 8,900 local church partners in 29 countries.

Child sponsorship helps children gain access to resources such as school uniforms, medical check-ups, nutritional meals, and vocational training, to name a few.

Many of our KingsGate church family sponsor a child and enjoy receiving personal letters and drawings, as well as having the privilege of speaking encouragement into their life too.
