We have loads of fun at EXPLORE Club!
The club is designed as an engaging opportunity for Year 6 pupils to understand the Christian faith and at the end of the series, you will receive a special invitation for you and your family to attend a Christmas or Easter presentation here at KingsGate.

  •   MOVIE CLIP
    Watch the Disney movie, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.’ Sitting at your table with your team, you will watch the film in 6 parts.
  •   REFRESHMENTS
    Enjoy a drink and something to eat while you watch the movie.
  •   WORD WATCH
    There’s a game to play called ‘Word Watch.’ Each week there will be special words to watch for. Whenever you hear one, raise your hand and shout that word out to win points.
  •   MOVIE QUIZ
    There’s a movie quiz to fill in each week and those who watch the movie closely will have the best chance of winning.
  •   YOUR TEAM
    You will be in a team of 6 children and will sit together at a table to watch the movie. Your table leader will be there to help you.
  •   POINTS MAKE PRIZES
    Earn points for your team in the games and activities.
  •   TOP SCORE PRIZES
    At the end of the 6 weeks, the team with the most points will receive a goody bag.
  •   EXPLORE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH
    Each week we will look at the hidden message that C. S. Lewis wrote in ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ about the Christian faith. You will have a chance to explore how your own beliefs may be the same or different.

It’s fun, you learn about Jesus, you learn about something new each time and you make new friends.
