Kids
We want to help your family enjoy every part of the Sunday experience.
Our desire is to see a generation of children who love God and are equipped to impact their world; fulfilling their destiny in God.
Each Sunday we provide children’s groups for all ages, and our team are committed to providing a fun, creative, and safe environment where every child can learn about Jesus and experience His love.
Baby Dedications
As Christians, dedicating children to God follows the example set in scripture when children were dedicated in the Temple by their parents. (1 Samuel 1:21-22, Luke 2:21-40). At KingsGate we believe that the dedication of babies is based upon the promises made by parent(s). Parents endeavour to raise their child within a Christian environment so that in the future their child is able to make a personal decision to follow Christ for themselves.
Parent & Baby Room
We have a Parent & Baby Room for parents of children 0 - 12 months. There is a live video link to the service so you won't miss a thing. Tea & coffee facilities, a feeding area and a microwave for bottle warming are provided.

We offer a wide range of toys for play as well as some simple activities, using our ABC curriculum to introduce God’s love to your little ones. School Year 2-5
These are action-packed sessions for children in school years two to five and run during both morning services. We believe that children learn best when having fun! We offer a creative session of worship, interactive prayer, crafts, games, and age specific teaching. Each session follows our in-house curriculum Passport to Purpose, a 26-week programme which grounds children in foundational Christian principles.
Each child has a group leader who works with them in smaller groups organised by age range. Children are encouraged to attend regularly and bring their Bibles (we use the Good News Bible) and to learn the Word by heart. They earn points along the way with an annual prize-giving and award ceremony. The remaining part of the year we use other theme-based teaching programmes. We also offer opportunities and suggestions for parents and carers to be involved in their child’s learning and spiritual development.
During each session the children are offered a snack and drink.

Information for parents
KingsGate wants to support you as you seek to support and encourage your children in the love of the God.
REGISTRATION: Please make use of the pre-registration system in the Atrium before going into the service. This allows the Kid's Team to prepare for the arrival of your child. Members of the team are available to help you with this process and answer questions. If you are arriving for the first time then please see a member of the Check-In team who can tell you more and register your child into the right group.
KingsGate runs an electronic registration system which prints stickers for each child and their family. Every child needs to wear their sticker in the session: to identify them by name, to alert workers to any allergy information, and to provide a register in the event of a fire. Parents are asked to present the matching sticker when returning to collect their child. Workers are asked not to allow children to go with anyone other than the person with the sticker. If the sticker has been lost, then re-prints can be done at the Registration Desk.
